Thrift Store
Our Thrift Store is an important resource for helping to fund the Meals On Wheels program. It is operated exclusively by volunteers.
In the store you will find a wonderful variety of items including antique glassware, linens, tools, books, knick-knacks, as well as clothing and sometimes furniture and electronics.
The Thrift Store is located in Bandera at 660 Hwy. 16 South in the strip mall next to Aguascalientes Restaurant. You can call the Thrift Store at (830) 796-3590.
Store hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. In the event you find our store not open during these days and hours, we apologize. It is due to a lack of volunteer availability. Please let us know If you wish to volunteer to help keep our store open. The volunteer form is easy to fill out and return it to Silver Sage Community Center at 803 Buck Creek Drive or call (830) 796-4969.
Donations of used but serviceable items are accepted at the store during our hours of operation. All contributions are tax deductable. The manager of our Thrift Store askes that you bring donations to the Thrift Store during opening hours or, if you have to leave items there when the Store isn't open, please leave them at the front door. Do not leave them at the back door! The back door isn't used and anything left back there could remain back there for quite a while. This would be appreciated by the volunteers of the Thrift Store! They want to make sure that all of your items are put out promptly and in great condition.
Thank you for supporting the Meals On Wheels program for Bandera County.
